Al Qadsia Club’s Multipurpose Complex is a six-floor facility in Hawally, designed to accommodate athletes and sports officials. Being avid sports fans ourselves, we were excited to fit out the interior of the courts and halls in this project.
Grade 1 US Solid Maple wooden flooring is used in the courts, with a substructure plywood panels and rubber support to insure maximum durability. The exposed monolithic steel structure and stands in contrast to the human scale.
For the Judo and Fencing halls, we used a thick rubber mat flooring with polyurethane resin coating that is visually pleasing and durable.
